Nicaragua American Cigars S.A.

The new size is scheduled to arrive in about a month, geared toward shorter smoking times due to the colder weather. It becomes the fifth size in the line, which debuted in March 2024.

This $19 cigar is made with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés binder and filler tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and the U.S. The total production is limited to just 5,000 cigars packaged in 10-count boxes.

The new release is dedicated to dog of Kyle Gellis, the company’s founder. This line marks the first time that Warped has worked with the Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA) factory in Estelí.

The limited edition features a revised blend of the one found on the event-only Pataperro. Specifically, a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper and the shape of the cigar makes it considerably stronger, according to Steve Saka.

Announced in mid-August, the cigars are now ready to head to stores. We also now know how much the limited edition robustos will cost.

The 6 x 54 Muy Gordo Grande vitola has not been rolled since early this year. The company says only 56 boxes of the size remains in its inventory.

The first cigars will go to attendees of the Red Meat Lovers dinner at The Great Smoke in March 2025. The cigars will then reappear at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show in mid-April.

The cigar is named for one of Kyle Gellis’ dogs that passed away. It is also said to be the strongest cigar ever produced by Warped, and comes from a factory the brand hasn’t worked with before.

Several details are still to be announced, but we do know the size, blend and number of cigars being produced.
