In celebration of J.C. Newman’s 130th anniversary, the regular Diamond Crown line will be getting a packaging update. In addition, the Diamond Crown Classic No. 9 will become a regular production vitola.

This is the first cigar in a new series meant to honor supporters, patrons and friends of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust. The first release is named after Chris Duque, a friend of the company and its people.

Citing retailer and consumer preferences for smaller box counts, the company has changed from 25-count boxes to 15-count. The blends remain the same, as does the design of the packaging.

The lighter offers a built-in serrated cigar cutter and a merging double jet flame torch. The Nickel Satin Matte color becomes the seventh color option for the model.

Announced in mid-August, the cigars are now ready to head to stores. We also now know how much the limited edition robustos will cost.
