After delays due to the arrival of the cigars’ elaborate packaging, Emergence is finally heading to stores. It’s the first cigar from Peter James Cigar Co., a joint venture between Luciano Cigars and Peter James Co.

The cigars were slated to be released in mid-April, but packaging delays have kept them sitting in the factory. Now, members of a cigar club will get to taste them ahead of their full release, scheduled for later this month.

The new size breaks through the $9 price point that the company made an important part of the line’s launch.

The limited edition release features a modified blend from the regular production sizes. It was also only available to retailers who attended the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show and ordered it during that event.

The cigar line was co-blended by Linxu “Panda” Yan and Luciano Meirelles, founder of Luciano Cigars.

Both new vitolas are made with an Ecuadorian broadleaf hybrid wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés binder, and Nicaraguan fillers grown in Condega, Ometepe and Pueblo Nueva.

The PCA-exclusive cigar has a different blend than the regular production line.

The ultra-premium line promises “an exclusive journey into genuine luxury.”

The Genesis line debuted last year and was created in collaboration with Luciano Meirelles, ceo and co-founder of Luciano Cigars.

Priced at under $9 per cigar, the cigar promises to deliver unexpected value.

The cigar features a filler made up of tobaccos generally used as wrappers, while each size in the line is priced under $9 to deliver “unexpected value.”
