Definition Cigars is now shipping two new sizes in its GEN413 line.
The GEN413 Lancero is a 7 x 42 vitola with an MSRP of $13.70 and the GEN413 Toro is a 6 x 52 vitola with an MSRP of $13.80. While the new sizes are regular production releases but the GEN413 Toro is packaged in 20-count boxes, while the GEN413 Lancero is being sold in 30-count boxes.
Both two new vitolas feature the same blend as the original 5 1/2 x 54 super robusto size that debuted during the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show: an Ecuadorian broadleaf hybrid wrapper covering a Mexican San Andrés binder and Nicaraguan fillers grown in Condega, Ometepe and Pueblo Nueva.
The GEN413 line was created in collaboration with Luciano Meirelles, ceo and co-founder of Luciano Cigars, and both the Lancero and Toro vitolas are being made at the Luciano Tabacos S.A. factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. In addition, the filler blend includes a tobacco Luciano Cigars has named Chincagre, which the company describes as native Nicaraguan tobacco grown in the Masatepe region.
In an Instagram message, Jamond Hackley, founder of Definition Cigars, told halfwheel that boxes of both new GEN413 vitolas started shipping last week to retailers who ordered them during the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which took place last month, while additional orders are scheduled to begin shipping to other retailers on April 13.
