The third generation of S.T.Dupont miniJet is now available.
Coles of London, S.T.Dupont’s U.S. distributor, has announced that it is taking orders for a new version of the miniJet. It replaces the existing generation of the miniJet 2.0—which was introduced in 2017—though keeps the same basic attributes. As the name implies, the miniJet is a smaller, torch flame lighter. For the 2021 update, S.T.Dupont appears to be using much of the same design language found in the much larger megaJet, though in smaller form.
The new miniJet uses the side-action ignition that runs from the bottom of the lighter to a point close to the top of the lighter, the older miniJet 2.0’s ignition didn’t begin at the bottom of the lighter. The air intake has been revamped, the company says it’s not only wider but now includes two strips of active charcoal which are designed to filter out impurities in the air. It remains a single-flame torch lighter.
There are 10 colorways available, nine of which have an MSRP of $150.
The lone exception is the Golden colorway ($160), the other lighter not pictured is the Brushed Copper ($150).
