Coles of London is now the U.S. distributor of S.T.Dupont products for the tobacco segment.

It’s an extension to an existing relationship between the Paris-based luxury lighter and pen company and Charlotte-based Coles of London, which has been distributing the company’s products to pen and jewelry stores for nearly two years.

Mark Cole, president of Coles of London, told halfwheel that the company aims to increase the brand’s presence in America. Some of that will be through an increased frequency of orders from S.T.Dupont, which will reduce the number of backorders. He also said that there are plans to create exclusive U.S. releases from S.T.Dupont as the company has done in the pen segment.

Another area of focus will be improving the customer service, which Cole said he plans on “simplifying,” though details have not been finalized about how that will take place.

Coles of London takes over from Davidoff of Geneva USA, which distributed the brand in the U.S. from 2016-2020.
