Paris-based S.T.Dupont is celebrating the founding of America with a new Declaration of Independence Collection.

At this week’s TPE 2023 trade show, Coles of London—S.T.Dupont’s U.S. distributor—showed off the collection, which includes two pieces.

The company’s signature Ligne 2 lighter gets a stars and stripes finish and “1776” engraved into the body of the lighter. While the colorway is new, the lighter itself is not. Like previous Ligne 2 lighters, it features two flame nozzles allowing it to create a wider flame. To use the lighter, the user opens the flip-top lid—creating a signature pinging sound—and then flicks the roller wheel to the left using their right thumb. This turns the flint and lights the dual flames.

In addition, there’s an accompanying Declaration of Independence fountain pen.

The Ligne 2 lighter will have an MSRP $1,995 and the fountain pen has $1,695. Both items will be limited and numbered, though Coles of London said it hasn’t determined the final quantity numbers.

Declaration of Independence is expected to ship in late April or early May 2023.
