The Quesada Oktoberfest will return for 2023, again topped off by a Mexican San Andrés wrapper.

For the third consecutive year, Quesada is using a blend of a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic. It’s also the third consecutive year that Quesada is releasing the cigar in three of the four sizes that will be offered this year.

  • Quesada Oktoberfest 2023 Bavarian (5 1/2 x 52) — $10.80 (Box of 10, $108)
  • Quesada Oktoberfest 2023 Das Boot (6 x 52) — $11 (Box of 10, $110)
  • Quesada Oktoberfest 2023 Über (6 x 65) — $11.80 (Box of 10, $118)
  • Quesada Oktoberfest 2023 Salomon Press (6 3/4 x 50/33) — $14

The Salomon Press size is not new, but Quesada has only used it for the Oktoberfest once before, in 2014. The other three sizes—Bavarian, Das Boot and Über—have been part of the last three Oktoberfest releases: 2019, 2021 and 2022. There will be 500 boxes of each size of those three sizes.

The Salomon Press is one of the most unique-looking cigars ever sold. It’s a double perfecto with round tapered ends on both sides of its nearly seven-inch long body; however, the center of the cigar features an aggressive box-press. Not only that, the thickness of the cigar shrinks dramatically. Quesada says the Salomon Press will only be available at events; the company is not disclosing how many Salomon Press cigars it is making.

“This will be our third year developing the known Quesada Oktoberfest blend with beautiful Mexican, San Andres wrapper,” said Manuel “Manolo” Quesada Jr., in a press release. “People have loved this combination, and we really enjoy the pairing with the tobaccos used.”

Oktoberfest 2023 will be shown off at the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place July 8-11 in Las Vegas, and ship to retailers in August.
