The Casa Magna Liga F TAA Exclusive 2023 is returning to stores, though this time with a new name and not as a limited edition TAA exclusive.

Instead, the 6 x 54 cigar is known as the Casa Magna Liga F Toro Box Press and it is a regular production release available to all retailers. Quesada Cigars, owner of the Casa Magna brand, announced that the cigar is available for retailers to order and ready to ship. Liga F uses an Ecuadorian sun grown corojo wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. This is the lone box-pressed vitola for the line, which debuted in 2021.

This vitola was first released last year as an exclusive for retailers that are part of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA), a retail trade group that includes roughly 80 American stores. That release was limited to just 300 boxes of 10 cigars.

“The Liga F Box Press was a hit, the demand for the cigar to be part of our core line was inevitable,” said Hector Becerra, national sales manager for Quesada, in a press release. “The box press adds a more intense and flavorful experience. People will love it.”

The MSRP remains $11.70 per cigar, the same as the TAA release.

Liga F is made at Quesada’s Tabacos de Exportación factory in Licey, Dominican Republic.
