Perdomo Cigars will soon be showing up in U.K. humidors, as the company has announced that it has entered into an import and distribution agreement with Tor Imports, a relationship that will officially kick off on May 20th during the grand opening night of IGNITE 2022, the British tobacco and cigar trade show.

The first cigars to head across the Atlantic will be the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Connecticut and the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Maduro, both of which have blends that include Cuban-seed tobaccos grown on Perdomo’s farms in Nicaragua. The Connecticut version is wrapped in an Ecuadorian leaf that has been aged for six years and barrel aged for a minimum of eight months, while the Maduro uses a six-year-old Nicaraguan wrapper that has been aged in bourbon barrels for an additional 14 months.

Both cigars will be available in three vitolas, a 5 x 54 Robusto, 6 x 54 Epicure, and 6 x 60 Super Toro, with each size offered in 25-count boxes.

“We are truly excited to work with Scott Vines, Ricardo Carioni, and the entire team at Tor Imports, the leading British importers, distributor and sales marketing arm for premium cigars, who will bring Perdomo Cigars to Great Britain,” said Nick Perdomo, Jr., president and CEO of Perdomo Cigars, via a press release. “We are confident retailers and consumers in the UK will find a new favorite to enjoy with family and friends.”

A representative from Perdomo that there are plans to release more cigars from Perdomo’s portfolio to the U.K. market in the future.

With the addition of the United Kingdom, Perdomo has expanded its distribution to nearly 50 countries around the globe.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
