Fable Cigars is back in the RoMa Craft Tobac booth this year, having spent the 2022 PCA Convention and Trade Show in a separate booth with the other Pospiech Inc. brands. As I’ve noted in other booth posts, the separate booths were only due to availability when it was decided to attend the 2022 show.

Over the years, Fable has displayed either limited or sometimes no products at the show and usually tells me that there isn’t anything new to announce. While that might seem strange for a company to do this, the consistency with which owners Sean Kremenetski and Mitul Shah attend the show and their statement of focus on the brand’s core line, Fourth Prime, reassures me that the company is in a secure position.

I briefly chatted with Kremenetski and Shah, and they told me of the upcoming second release in the Scions Series. The first release was Two Things, Kremenetski’s project, and a tribute to his father. This upcoming release is RDY, Shah’s project dedicated to his children, Rian, Divyan, and Yaana. While details like blend and size are not ready for announcement, it will be a limited production of 5,000 cigars priced between $10-12 per cigar and released towards the end of the year.

I have been smoking cigars since 2005 and reviewing them as a hobby since 2010. Initially, I started out small with a 50-count humidor and only smoking one or two cigars a month. Not knowing anybody else that smoked cigars, it was only an occasional hobby that I took part in. In March of 2010, I joined Nublive and Cigar Asylum, connecting me with many people who also shared an interest in cigars. Reading what they had to say about brands I had never heard of, I quickly immersed myself in the boutique brands of the industry and it was then that cigars transformed from a hobby into a passion.
