Patoro’s Brasil will get its American debut next month at the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.
The European-based company introduced the line in 2014, right around the time the company entered the U.S. market. It has been slowly expanding its American offerings, though many of them have been modified takes on existing blends.
For Brasil, the company is using the same blend it offers in Europe. A Cuban-seed wrapper grown in Bahia, Brazil over a Dominican binder and Dominican fillers.
The line is offered in three sizes: Gordito (4 x 58, $12), Belicoso (6 x 50, $14) and Gordo (5 1/2 x 58, $16). All three sizes are sold in boxes of 20.
Pablo Richard told halfwheel the cigars will be ready to ship the week of the trade show, which begins July 25 in Las Vegas.
Patoro is distributed in the U.S. by CLE Cigar Co.
