This summer, Quality Importer Trading Co. is is releasing the, Palió Veneto, a new quad-flame lighter.

While it might initially look like a standard pocket lighter, the Vento measures 5.4 inches x 1.4 x 1.1, which puts it in the category of a tabletop lighter. That large body creates for a massive fuel tank, which Quality Importers says is good for lighting up to 150 cigars via what the company describes as an “elongated diamond flame.” In addition, the cap of the lighter can also function as a cigar rest.

The lighter will have an MSRP of $29.99—which includes a gift box “for added elegance”—and it is being offered in five colors: black, blue, clear, green and red. Quality Importers expects to ship the Veneto in July.

“The Veneto checks off a lot of the boxes our customers have been asking for in the Palió line and does so at a great price point, making it a powerful addition to an already very strong line,” said Danilo Faulin, Palió brand manager at Quality Importers, in a press release. “The Veneto is a great stay-at-home or on-the-go lighter with the tank capacity to light every cigar at a HERF and keep going.”

I have been smoking cigars for over eight years. A documentary wedding photographer by trade, I spent seven years as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I started the cigar blog SmokingStogie in 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a cigar blog with better photographs and more in-depth information about each release. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars. I am a co-founder of halfwheel and now serve as an editor for halfwheel.
