Today, there’s a new size of the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua heading to stores.

The Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua Robusto joins the lineup as a regular production size measuring 5 x 54. The line is made at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano Factory, using Nicaraguan tobacco for the wrapper, binder and filler.

It has an MSRP of $16.95 and comes in boxes of 10 cigars.

“The Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua blend is exceptionally well-suited for this Robusto size,” said Rafael Nodal, vp of product capability for Tabacalera U.S.A., in a press release. “While all sizes in the range perform admirably, we saw a unique opportunity to introduce a Robusto to the line.”

Altadis U.S.A., which sells the non-Cuban Montecristo line in the U.S., says the new vitola began shipping today.
