Yesterday, the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) announced that Kristoff has created a new limited edition exclusive for its retail members.
The Kristoff TAA Exclusive 2024 is a 6 1/4 x 60 cut perfecto that uses a Brazilian maduro wrapper, a Dominican binder, and a filler of Dominican and Honduran tobaccos, which the company says puts the cigar’s strength profile at a “4 out of 5.” The cigar is produced at Tabacalera Von Eicken in the Dominican Republic, which produces Kristoff’s portfolio.
It comes with an MSRP of $15 and is presented in 10-count boxes, with production limited to 1,000 boxes.
The Kristoff TAA Exclusive is scheduled to begin shipping in November.
Kristoff joins CLE, Crowned Heads, E.P. Carrillo, Ferio Tego, Forged Cigar Co., Gurkha, J.C. Newman Joya de Nicaragua, Miami Cigar & Co., Quesada and Villiger Cigars North America as creating exclusive products for the TAA’s Exclusive Series Program this year.
I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
