Christian Eiroa of CLE Cigar Co. has announced that his father, Julio Eiroa, has started a new company, JRE Tobacco Co.

JRE Tobacco Co. is a new partnership between Julio and Justo Eiroa, Christian’s older brother. It will handle the sales and distribution of the Aladino, Rancho Luna and Tatascan brands that were shown off at the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

Up until now, those brands have been made by Julio Eiroa at his Las Lomas Factory in Honduras and distributed by CLE Cigar Co. Effective Feb. 1, JRE Tobacco Co. will handle the brands.

“This decision was made to protect my father’s specific vision to present to you and your customers traditional Cuban blends,” said Christian Eiroa in an email. “He has not spared one expense and has personally taken care of every single detail of his tobacco and his blends.”

Justo Eiroa is listed as the company’s president. He previously started his own bottled water company in Honduras and went onto work Florida International University and Campbell Soup Co. where he worked on the company’s Central and Latin America efforts.
