Fans of a limited, regional release from Gurkha known as the Dynasty will soon get another crack at the cigar, as it is set to return this summer, though it will now be known as the Gurkha Jubilee.
The cigar uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper with the binder and fillers coming from Nicaragua. It is being released in a single 6 x 56 Toro vitola, with an MSRP of $20 per cigar or $200 for a ten-count humidor. The Jubilee is limited to 1,000 humidors of 10 cigars each, a total run of 10,000 cigars coming out of American Caribbean Tobacco in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Also being added to the new release list is the Gurkha Trinity, a three-pack of cigars that feature two different wrappers and a barber pole version that showcases both of them.
The Trinity features a binder from Nicaragua with fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, while the capa is either a Nicaraguan habano, Nicaraguan maduro, or barber pole of the two. Trinity is available in a 5 x 50 Robusto version ($22) or a 6 x 50 Toro version ($24).
Gurkha’s Xtreme line is also set to have its new look unveiled during the trade show.
