Yesterday was Opening Day 2024 and one cigar company is ready to play ball.

Last week, J.C. Newman announced a new baseball-themed and baseball bat-shaped cigar, Tampa Smokers. At this week’s 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, the company showed off a unique-looking humidor that is designed in a shape that looks like home plate. It’s not just the shape of the humidor that has a baseball tie-in, the design of the humidor is also made to mimic the stitching of a baseball. Furthermore, the exterior of the humidor was made from wood from three wooden bats.

This fall—ahead of the World Series—J.C. Newman will release 30 of these humidors, known as The American Baseball Humidor. Each humidor will come with 30 of the Tampa Smokers cigars. The 30 number represents the 30 MLB teams. The humidors are being produced by Jason LeGear of JML Modern in Milwaukee, Wis. Last year, the two companies partnered to create The American All-Star Humidor, which was decorated using pieces from the floor of the 2011 NBA All-Star Game.

The American Baseball Humidor is rated to hold 100 cigars. The triangular part of the humidor is open, meaning you could store smaller cigars in that section.

J.C. Newman has not determined a price for the humidor.
