J.C. Newman has announced that it will be raising prices effective Jan. 16.

In a letter to retailers, the company—like many others—cited increased manufacturing costs and the cost associated with the new regulations by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

The Diamond Crown lines will increase 25 cents per cigar for the price at the register. Brick House will increase roughly the same, 24 cents per cigar.

Many of the lower-priced offerings from the company will increase less. The popular Quorum line of bundles cigars will increase just 5 cents per cigar.

The company did not increase prices on its accessory lines.
