Elie Bleu is one of my favorite booths to visit, though writing about the company is a bit more tedious than most. This year the company brought a variety of new designs for both its humidors and hand accessories, though most were just new colorways or wood options, not new engineering designs. That being said, the Elie Bleu booth is still fun of plenty of incredible looking items.

While the booth is pretty, walking around had one unintended consequence. The booth smelled like sulfur, a result of an a/c vent overhead the booth. This seems to be an effect of the Day 2 A.J. Fernández fire and the fire suppression system. It was unpleasant even for the short time I was there and apparently a much more serious issue for people visiting the booth on day three.

Elie Bleu Gargoyle Series (350-Count)

The flagship item for Elie Bleu is centered around gargoyles. The main humidor is said to be a 350-count cabinet style humidor using royal ebony for the main humidor and black sycamore and bronze for the base.

The humidor comes with an ashtray, which fits in the bottom drawer and slots for a lighter and cutter.

Production: 12 Humidors

Launch Date: 2018

Elie Bleu Gargoyle Series (110-Count)

The smaller and more affordable Gargoyle Series humidor is once again made with royal ebony and bronze, though this time it’s modeled after the Cathedral of Notre Dame. It measures 19 1/11 x 10 2/3 x 4 1/8 inches.

Elie Bleu Route 66 Motorcycle Humidor

This is a follow-up to the gun series the company had last year. It’s a 110-count humidor using three different types of wood and metal to create the look.

Elie Bleu Parrot Collection

This is actually a previous Elie Bleu offering, once one of the more popular models in the company’s catalog. It returns in two different sizes. The humidor is made from sycamore and ammonia burl with marquetry. The smaller 75-count humidor measures 11 4/5 x 9 2/3 x 4 1/2 inches, while the larger 120-count offering is 15 3/4 x 9 4/9  x 5 6/10 inches.

MSRP: $2,480/$3,400

Production: Limited

Launch Date: 2018

Elie Bleu Thuya Humidor

The company says the thuya burl comes from Morocco. The company says that its density makes it challenging to make in larger sizes, as such it’s only offered in a 110-count option, measuring 19 1/11 x 10 2/3 x 4 1/8 inches.

MSRP: $2,100

Production: 7 Humidors

Launch Date: 2018

  • Large Table Lighter — $760
  • Ashtray — $690

Elie Bleu Casa Cubana Sycamore & Atlantic Jara Palacio

Elie Bleu’s ongoing Casa Cubana series gets new buildings this year. The company has produced a variety of sizes and colors of buildings, inspired by buildings in Havana.

This year’s addition has interesting details like a bike parked at the back and some of the windows opened and close. I’m told there’s at least one collector that has every humidor so far, meaning eventually that person might have a full city of humidors. The humidor is rated for 110 cigars.

MSRP: $5,600

Production: 99 Humidors

Launch Date: 2018
