The HVC La Rosa 520 Maduro Exquisitos is back for 2021.

At the end of the month, HVC Cigars will ship another production run of the La Rosa 520 Maduro Exquisitos, a 5 5/8 x 46 corona gorda version of the La Rosa 520. Unlike the regular blend—which is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco—the La Rosa 520 Maduro uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler.

This cigar debuted in 2019 alongside a 5 1/2 x 54 size known as Mágicos, which will not be sold in 2021. HVC says the La Rosa 520 Maduro will be released once per year and is limited in nature, though there was not a 2020 version. The La Rosa 520 debuted in 2018 as an exclusive to Orange, Calif.-based SmallBatchCigar.com.

The MSRP has increased to $10 per cigar, up from $9 in 2019, and it will once again be limited to 500 boxes of 10 cigars.

HVC says it will show off the La Rosa 520 Maduro Exquisitos at the Tobacco Plus Expo 2021 (TPE 2021) trade show, which takes place May 11-13 in Las Vegas. It says that the cigars should be on shelves in late May.
