Next month, General Cigar Co. will be shipping the largest size yet in the company’s Bolivar Cofradia line.
The Bolivar Cofradia Gigante is a 6 x 60 gordo vitola with an MSRP of $7.89 each. As with the rest of the line, the new size will be packaged in 25-count boxes and is made up of an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper covering a Connecticut broadleaf binder and filler tobaccos grown in Honduras and Nicaragua.
“Bolivar Cofradia offers cigar lovers a refined smoking experience at a budget-friendly price point,” said Joe Krzyston, assistant brand manager for Bolivar, in a press release. “With the release of the new Gigante size, we’re pleased to offer our fans the same Bolivar Cofradia quality in a bold and popular size.”
The Bolivar Cofradia Gigante is being made at the STG Danlí factory in Honduras and will be distributed by Forged Cigar Co.
With the addition of the Gigante, there will be five vitolas in the Bolivar Cofradia line:
- Bolivar Cofradia Churchill (7 1/2 x 54)
- Bolivar Cofradia Robusto (5 x 54)
- Bolivar Cofradia Toro (6 x 54)
- Bolivar Cofradia Torpedo (6 1/4 x 50)
- Bolivar Cofradia Gigante (6 x 60)
According to a press release, boxes of the Bolivar Cofradia Gigante are scheduled to begin shipping to retailers during the first week of February.
