The ninth installment of the 601 La Bomba Warhead is on its way to stores.

It’s the 601 La Bomba Warhead IX, a 6 x 56 perfecto made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco, capped off with a broadleaf wrapper. Like many other products from Espinosa Premium Cigars, it will be made at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua.

The MSRP is set at $13 per cigar and limited to 5,000 boxes of 10 cigars.

“You know it’s PCA time when Warhead appears. Year in and year out, our customers look forward to this release,” said Erik Espinosa, founder of Espinosa Premium Cigars, in a press release. “It’s a great cigar, in yet another great vitola.”

As with previous iterations, the packaging uses a military theme with a band designed to look like a painted warhead.

Espinosa Premium Cigars will also be featuring the Warhead IX at the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place July 8-11 in Las Vegas.

Correction (June 19, 2023) — The original version of the story indicated that the Warhead IX would debut at the PCA Convention & Trade Show, however Espinosa Premium Cigars clarified that it has already begun shipping the cigars to stores.
