A number of new cigars from celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s Knuckle Sandwich brand are on their way to stores, as Espinosa Premium Cigars, the company that distributes the brand, has announced that it has begun shipping the Chef Special 2023, the Prix Fixe Menu and the Knuckle Sandwich Maduro 6 x 60, all of which debuted at the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show in July.

The Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special—which you’ll notice is a slight name change from Chef’s Special, which was used when the first installment was released—is a 6 1/2 x 52 box-pressed perfecto that uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper, while the binder and filler from Nicaragua. It’s limited to 1,500 boxes of 10 cigars, with pricing set at $15 per cigar and $150 per box.

Fittingly getting its name from a restaurant industry term, the Knuckle Sandwich Prix Fixe Sampler comes with nine cigars, three each in the Habano, Maduro and Connecticut blends, and all offered in a 5 x 58 salomon vitola, which is a new size for the brand. It’s a limited production item, with just 1,500 samplers produced, each priced at $162.

Rounding out the releases is a 6 x 60 box-pressed gordo for the Knuckle Sandwich Maduro line, one of the company’s regular production offerings. The line uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra maduro wrapper atop a Nicaraguan binder and filler. Pricing is set at $14 per cigar and $280 for a box of 20 cigars.

All of the cigars are produced at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
