Espinosa Premium Cigars has announced that the sixth installment of its 601 La Bomba Warhead line, an annually released limited edition, has arrived and should be on store shelves soon.
The Warhead VI is a 5 x 58 figurado that uses a broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, which the company says results in a full-bodied cigar marked by creamy sweetness and spice.
It was produced at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, with just 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars made for a total run of 10,000 cigars. Pricing is set at $10 per cigar and $100 per box, before taxes.
As the name implies, this is the sixth installment in the Warhead series

The Warhead line debuted in 2013 and gets several aspects of its design aesthetics from the World War II era. The bomb features a shark face design which is a a reference to the Flying Tigers, the 1st American Volunteer Group, who would paint it on their military aircraft. The logo and band also feature aircraft graffiti, another common element from that era.
When the line was unveiled at the 2013 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, it was accompanied by a decommissioned bomb in the Espinosa booth, which the company invited all active duty military and veterans to sign, and would go onto be displayed in the company’s office.
Shortly after this story was published, the company confirmed that the Warhead VI is scheduled to begin shipping next week.
