Two new releases from Emilio are heading to stores.

The Emilio audiophile uses an Ecuadorian maduro wrapper over an Ecuadorian habano binder and fillers from Nicaragua. It’s offered in a single 5 x 52 robusto size. The audiophile has an MSRP of $10.50 per cigar and is sold in boxes of 20. It is limited edition, though production numbers have not been disclosed.

There is also a new regular production line, the Suave Maduro. It uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan habano binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It is offered in three sizes:

  • Emilio Suave Maduro Robusto (5 x 50) — $10 (Box of 20, $200)
  • Emilio Suave Maduro Toro (6 x 50) — $10.50 (Box of 20, $210)
  • Emilio Suave Maduro Churchill (7 x 48) — $10.50 (Box of 20, $210)

“Suave has been a staple in the Emilio line since the beginning,” said James Brown, owner of Black Label Trading Co., in a press release. “With the success of the Connecticut Suave over the years, we felt it was time to expand the line and add a Maduro version. The Maduro Suave is a medium bodied, medium strength and full of both flavor and complexity.”

While Emilio is owned by the Zucca family, the brand is more or less managed by Brown who creates the blends and branding for Emilio cigars. Fábrica Oveja Negra and Oveja Negra Brands manufacturer and distribute the Emilio cigars.
