Tobacco & Cigar Distribution Corporation, the distribution company for the Tabacalera El Artista S.R.L., has announced that it has begun the full release of the Big Papi.

The cigar is made in partnership with the recently retired baseball star David Ortiz, who goes by the same name. It’s offered in a single 6 x 54 size using an Ecuadorian habano claro wrapper, criollo 98 binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

Ortiz will be on hand for a launch event in New York City on Nov. 3 and is said to be appearing at select events to promote the cigar next year.

Pricing for the Big Papi is $11.50 and comes in boxes of 20.
