Garet Robinson is the new vice president of sales for Don Doroteo Cigars.

Previously, Robinson has worked as a broker of cigars in the midwest as well as a co-host of How Bout That Cigar, a cigar podcast and blog.

Don Doroteo was launched last year by Juan Lugo, whose grandfather Doroteo Delgado grew tobacco for La Aurora in the Dominican Republic in the 1930s. The company debuted with a limited edition line called El Legado that it said featured cigars aged for 14 years.

“We are thrilled to welcome Garret to the Don Doroteo Cigars family,” said Lugo in a press release. “His deep understanding of the cigar industry and proven track record of success make him the perfect candidate to drive sales and further establish Don Doroteo Cigars as a leader in the premium cigar market.”
