Davidoff of Geneva USA has begun offering the Davidoff Yamasá Gran Torpedo and Davidoff Nicaraguan Gran Torpedo in the American market.

In 2018, Davidoff added the 4 x 54 torpedo vitola to both lines—as well as Escurio—however, those sizes weren’t offered for sale in the U.S. until this week.

The Davidoff Nicaragua Gran Torpedo is priced at $16.50 per cigar and offered in packs of three. Like the rest of the line, it uses a Nicaraguan habano rosado wrapper over a Nicaraguan habano binder and fillers from the Condega, Estelí and Ometepe regions of Nicaragua.

Pricing and packaging are the same for the Davidoff Yamasá Gran Torpedo—$16.50 per cigar and sold in cardboard boxes of three. Its named after the wrapper that Davidoff uses—a leaf from the Dominican region of Yamasá. The binder also comes from the region while the fillers are from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

Davidoff of Geneva USA is not currently selling the Escurio Gran Torpedo.

The two sizes are being sold in “very limited” quantities at Davidoff’s flagship stores in the U.S. as well as select retailers.
