Dapper Releases Desvalido – Disla Corona Gorda as BL Luxuries Exclusive

In 2022, Dapper Cigar Co. released the Desvalido Corona Gorda as an exclusive to BL Luxuries. Now, the Desvalido – Disla blend is available in a corona gorda, an exclusive for BL Luxiries.

The Desvalido – Disla Corona Gorda, a 5 3/4 x 46 corona gorda with an MSRP of $11.49 each. In an email, Ian Reith, founder of Dapper Cigar Co., told halfwheel that only 200 five-count boxes were made, a total of 1,000 cigars.

“This is a cigar format that I personally enjoy, but we don’t have in our regular production of this line,” reads a post on Dapper’s Instagram page. “Being that I smoke this size quite often, I’m really happy that it’s now offered for everyone else to experience!”

The Desvalido – Disla blend incorporates an Ecuadorian habano rosado wrapper from Oliva Tobacco Co. that covers an undisclosed internal blend, although Dapper does state that the internal tobacco is “primarily Nicaraguan.” Itis a variation of Dapper’s Desvalido blend but was reblended by Raul Disla, the production manager of the Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA) factory in Estelí. When the Desvalido Disla line debuted in mid-2022, it was offered in the same four sizes as the original Desvalido line.

According to Dapper, the Desvalido – Disla Corona Gorda is now available on the BL Luxuries website. BL Luxuries is the online storefront of Harrisburg Beer N Cigars in Harrisburg, Pa.
