During the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, Colibri showcased three new additions to its Quasar Collection, and the first of those products is now available for purchase.

It’s the Quasar Triple Cigar Case, which can hold up to three 60-ring gauge cigars. According to the accessories company, the exterior is made from genuine calfskin leather, while the interior is lined with “aromatic cedar wood.” Each case has an MSRP of $115, and there are four different color options: black, brown, navy and red.

The Triple Case is part of Colibri’s Quasar Collection, a series of accessories inspired by the hobnail pattern design found on a vintage 1960s Colibri Moletric lighter. The company first used the Quasar design on a limited edition humidor created with Daniel Marshall that debuted in 2014.

In addition to the Triple Cigar Case, Colibri showed off the new Quasar SV-Cut cigar cutter and the Quasar Round Ashtray during the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show. Both products feature the same exterior design pattern and are scheduled to ship to retailers in June.

I have worn many hats in my life up to this point: I started out as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, then transitioned to photographing weddings—both internationally and in the U.S.—for more than a decade. After realizing that there was a need for a cigar website containing better photographs and more in-depth information about each release, I founded my first cigar blog, SmokingStogie, in 2008. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars, and it was one of the predecessors to halfwheel, which I co-founded.
