Colibri has added three new products to it Quasar Collection, the series of accessories inspired by the hobnail pattern design found on a vintage 1960s Colibri Moletric lighter.

During the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, the accessories company showed off the Quasar Triple Cigar Case, Quasar SV-Cut and the Quasar Round Ashtray. Colibri first used the Quasar design on a limited edition humidor created with Daniel Marshall that was released in 2014.

The first new product is the Quasar Triple Cigar Case, a travel case that can hold up to three 60-ring gauge cigars. Each case will have an MSRP of $115, and there will be four different color options: black, brown, navy and red.

In addition, Colibri showed off the new Quasar Round Ashtray, a round version of the company’s existing rectangular-shaped Quasar Ashtray. The newest incarnation will have an MSRP of $135 each and it will be sold in five different colorways: black, gunmetal, navy, red and silver.

Finally, Colibri added a Quasar-themed version of the company’s SV-Cut, a cutter initially released in 2017 that combines Colibri’s S-Cut and V-Cut cutters. However, unlike the original SV-Cut made with a single guillotine cutter and a V-Cut on opposing sides of a vertical case, the Quasar SV-Cut is designed horizontally with a single guillotine cutter that can cut up to 70-ring gauge cigars next to a V-Cut that can handle up to 60-ring gauge cigars.

Each Quasar SV-Cut has an MSRP of $99, and there are seven different color options: black, blue, green, gunmetal, navy, red and silver.

According to a representative of Colibri, all three Quasar-themed accessories are scheduled to ship to retailers in June.

I have been smoking cigars for over eight years. A documentary wedding photographer by trade, I spent seven years as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I started the cigar blog SmokingStogie in 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a cigar blog with better photographs and more in-depth information about each release. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars. I am a co-founder of halfwheel and now serve as an editor for halfwheel.
