At next week’s Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE) 2020, Cavalier Genève will offer retailers the opportunity to purchase cigars from its Small Batch collection, including two cigars that have not been offered for sale before.

One of those is completely new, the Cavalier Genève Black Series II Salomones, a 7 x 50/58 box-pressed salomones. It retails for $12 per cigar and will be sold in 10-count boxes.

The other is the Cavalier Genève USA Exclusive Petit Corona, a 5 x 44 vitola that retails for $6.90 per cigar. It will be sold in boxes of 50. The USA Exclusive line was formerly known as the Black Series until the company changed the name last year.

This is not the first time the Black Series Petit Corona has been available, the company previously used the cigar as an event-only release.

Both cigars use the same components: a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The difference is the Black Series II is box-pressed, while the USA Exclusive is round. The two blends are not identical.

“We want to ensure that all retailers supporting TPE get a chance to access all our Small Batch products that normally release only every six, 12 and 18 months,” said Sebastien Decoppet, founder of Cavalier Genève, in a press release. “It is very important for us to encourage the support of the TPE and we believe it is our responsibility to thank all our attending retail partners for it.”

The full list of Cavalier Genève Small Batch cigars available to TPE attendees is:

  • Cavalier Genève Black Series II Lancero
  • Cavalier Genève Black Series II Salomones
  • Cavalier Genève White Series Lancero
  • Cavalier Genève White Series Salomones
  • Cavalier Genève USA Exclusive Petit Corona

TPE 2020 takes place Jan. 29-31 in Las Vegas. The company says that retailers that place order for these items should expect to receive them in March-April
