Another store, another exclusive España, or two.

Chicago-area retailer Casa de Montecristo has announced that it will be receiving two new Quesada Selección Españas. The retailer will receive a 7 x 40 belicoso version that’s being referred to as a Beli-Lance and a 7 x 54 Fabulosos.

The store will receive 300 boxes of 10 of both sizes. The Beli-Lance carries an MSRP of $10.95, while the Fabulosos is $11.95.

Quesada Espana Beli Lance

“Casa de Montecristo is one of the premier retailers in the country,” said Terence Reilly, gm of Quesada Cigars, to halfwheel. “It’s an honor to work with Sam (Khalil) and his team to create not one but two exclusive vitolas for them.”

The cigars will be released at a dinner on March 26 with Quesada head Manuel “Manolo” Quesada Jr. in attendance.

This is the third store that has been designated to receive an exclusive España in a week. Federal Cigar will get the España Churchill next week, while STOGIES World Class Cigars is receiving the España Lancero later this month.

Quesada introduced the España line in 2011, originally as an exclusive for the Spanish market. A few U.S. retailers smoked the cigar and convinced the company to bring the cigar to the U.S., which it did in limited quantities. The latest batch of exclusives bring the number of vitolas in the line to 10.
