The third installment in AVO’s Seasons Limited Edition Series 2023 is set to go on sale tomorrow.

The AVO Seasons Fall Limited Edition 2023’s blend uses a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper and Dominican tobaccos for the binder and filler, with some of the filler aged for 14 years. The company says the profile offers complex notes of dried fruits, mixed nuts and sweet spice that get complemented by creaminess.

All four of the blends in AVO’s Seasons Limited Edition Series 2023 are being released in a 6 5/8 x 50 diadema vitola, with each blend having an MSRP of $18 and being limited to 4,000 boxes of 10 cigars.

“This special release has been carefully created by our Master Blenders who have worked with tobaccos across multi-faceted origins to craft the perfect seasonal blends. Tobaccos from each cigar can be found from diverse growing regions such as Ecuador and the Dominican Republic, with tobacco aged for up to 14 years,” said Edward Simon, CMO at Oettinger Davidoff. “We encourage our aficionados to enjoy each cigar while experiencing a moment unique to each season: walking through a garden in spring, watching the setting sun on a summer evening, feeling the air turn crisp as autumn leaves fall, and sitting by a crackling fire in winter.”

The Spring and Summer blends have already been released; the launch date for the Winter blend has not yet been announced.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
