The second of four planned AVO Seasons Limited Edition Series will begin shipping to stores next Monday.

All four of the cigars—one for each season—are offered in a 6 5/8 x 50 diadema, though the blend differs for each season. The AVO Seasons Limited Edition Series Summer uses an Ecuadorian corojo wrapper over a Mexican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, one of which the company says has been aged for 14 years. It’s the only one of the four cigars that does not use Dominican tobaccos for both the binder and fillers.

All four cigars use at least one tobacco that has been aged for 14 years in the filler. The AVO Seasons Limited Edition Series Fall uses a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper over a mixture of Domincian tobaccos. The Winter blend uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, again over a Dominican binder and Domincian fillers.

Each release has an MSRP of $18 and is limited to 4,000 boxes of 10 cigars; 1,500 boxes will be sent to the U.S.

“This special release has been carefully created by our Master Blenders who have worked with tobaccos across multi-faceted origins to craft the perfect seasonal blends. Tobaccos from each cigar can be found from diverse growing regions such as Ecuador and the Dominican Republic, with tobacco aged for up to 14 years,” said Edward Simon, chief marketing officer at Oettinger Davidoff, when the Spring release was announced in February. “We encourage our aficionados to enjoy each cigar while experiencing a moment unique to each season: walking through a garden in spring, watching the setting sun on a summer evening, feeling the air turn crisp as autumn leaves fall, and sitting by a crackling fire in winter.”

Correction (June 16, 2023) — The original version of this article listed the MSRP at $14 per cigar, while it is $18. It has been updated and we regret the error.
