If you would like to own an authentic cigar mold, a new sampler from Alec Bradley will give you a chance to own a previously-used and since-modified cigar mold.

Alec Bradley announced that it has begun shipping its Reclaimed sampler, which is packaged in an old cigar mold. Alec Bradley said that it took molds that were ready to be retired and modified them to be used for this project. Inside of each mold is a hollowed-out area that contains seven cigars, each in a 6 1/4 x 54 perfecto shape:

  • Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper
  • Alec Bradley Black Market
  • Alec Bradley Magic Toast
  • Alec Bradley Maxx
  • Alec Bradley Medalist
  • Alec Bradley Prensado
  • Alec Bradley Tempus

While a couple of these blends have been offered in a 6 3/4 x 54 perfecto before, none of them have been offered in this specific size. Interestingly, the cigars in the sampler come from two different factories, both in Danlí, Honduras. The Magic Toast, Prensado and Tempus blends are made at Raíces Cubanas, while the other four blends are produced at Tabacos de Oriente.

Each sampler has an MSRP of $79.95.

“What makes Reclaimed so special is that a genuine, factory-used cigar mold will continue its lifecycle as a collector’s prized possession, even after all the sampler exclusive cigars have gone up in smoke,” said Bradley Rubin of Alec Bradley in a press release.

There are only 800 Reclaimed samplers, each individually numbered.
