AGANORSA Leaf has announced two new sizes for its JFR Lunatic Maduro line. Predictably, neither is small.

The company is adding the JFR Lunatic Maduro 6 1/2 x 60 ($9.99) and 7 x 70 ($10.50) to the line. Blend-wise, the JFR Lunatic Maduro uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. It is made at the company’s Agricola Ganadera Norteña S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua. Both cigars will be offered in boxes of 28.

“These new releases are based on retailer and consumer demand,” said Terence Reilly, vp of sales and marketing for AGANORSA Leaf, in a press release. “The consumer thirst for big, flavorful maduro cigars seems unquenchable and our retailer partners have been consistent in their desire for an affordable fresh pack. We listened and have now produced these great additions to our portfolio to address the needs of the market.”

In addition, the company also has a new JFR Fresh Pack which contains four 6 1/2 x 52 JFR Super Toros: one Connecticut, two Corojos and one Maduro. It will have an MSRP of $25 per pack and they will be sold to retailers in displays of 10 packs, a total of 40 cigars.

TPE 2023 takes place Feb. 22-24 in Las Vegas. Reilly told halfwheel that the Fresh Packs will begin shipping immediately following TPE 2023 while the new JFR Lunatic Maduro sizes are expected in late March or early April.
