ADV & McKay Cigars Co. S.R.L., the parent company of the ADVentura brand, has added two new sizes to its ADVentura The Royal Return King’s Gold line: The King’s Golden Tooth (4 x 44 box-pressed, $11) and King’s Gold Gordo (6 x 60, $17.60).

“King’s Gold has been one of our best sellers, so it was time to add to the family,” said Marcel Knobel, co-founder of ADV & McKay, in a press release. “With the colder months approaching quickly, we created a 44 x 4 box press ‘quick’ smoke from one of our best-selling blends, and for those that summer never seems to end, a 60 x 6.”

The Royal Return King’s Gold, and its sister brand, Queen’s Pearls, debuted in the summer of 2020. Blend-wise, the King’s Gold uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and the U.S. The tobacco used for the blend is aged for five years, while the cigars rested in the aging room of Tabacalera Mina del Rey for four months after rolling.

Both new vitolas are regular production releases, bringing the line to five vitolas, which are all offered in boxes of 20 cigars:

“Our Connecticut broadleaf wrapper takes the longest to ferment and is the hardest to get,” said Henderson Ventura, co-founder of ADV & McKay, in a press release. “So we use every bit of it we can and that’s how The King’s Golden Tooth was born. The Gordo we made because so many people ask for that size. King’s Gold is always a limited batch production, so when they in stock, you need to get them. When they  out, you have to wait.”

City of Palms Distribution distributes the ADVentura brand in the U.S. The new sizes are in stock and available for retailers to order.

Correction: The initial version of this article said there were seven vitolas in the line, there are five. We regret the error.
