Enki Cigars will soon be getting a new home in Miami, as company found Karel Martinez told halfwheel that he has received the keys to the company’s new headquarters and distribution center and will be relocating his operation there in the coming weeks.
Martinez said the process of finding a suitable location has been something he’s been working on for the past nine to 10 months, but that the opening of the new headquarters is the culmination of a process that has been “years in the making.” He said the building needs to undergo a bit of remodeling and freshening up as well as customization, but he expects it to be operational by mid-April.
Enki Cigars has been operating out of Origins Cigars, the retail store also owned by Martinez. The new headquarters, located off the 152nd Street exit of the Ronald Reagan Turnpike, is just about six miles northwest of the existing one.
Martinez is also planning on having a pair of rollers working in the new location’s visitor center, where guests will be able to see the cigar making process in action as well as purchase and enjoy cigars and other gifts.
