Two new regular production cigars from B.A.M.F. Cigars will soon be showing up on store shelves.
The first new cigar is named PTSITA—the acronym stands for Put That Smoke In The Air—a 5 1/2 x 54 cigar that incorporates a habano 2000 oscuro wrapper from an undisclosed country covering a binder from Pennsylvania and a filler blend that includes tobacco from both the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. PTSITA has an MSRP of $13.50 each and is packaged in 10-count boxes.
In addition, the company is also shipping Area 51 Alien, a 6 1/2 x 48 vitola that is packaged in a glass tube and comes with a glow-in-the-dark band. Each cigar has an MSRP of $14.50 each and comes packaged in boxes of 10. In an email, Ismael R. Olivan, founder of B.A.M.F. Cigars, told halfwheel that the company is not disclosing the blend of the Area 51 Alien because “it is the cigar that doesn’t exist.”
Both cigars are being made at the Rodriguez Olivan Cigars Factory in the Dominican Republic.
According to Olivan, boxes of PTSITA and Area 51 Alien began shipping to retailers on Friday, May 3.
