Later this month, during the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, B.A.M.F. Cigars will be debuting two new regular production lines.

The first new creation is PTSITA—the acronym stands for Put That Smoke In The Air—a 5 1/2 x 54 cigar made up of a habano 2000 oscuro wrapper from an undisclosed country covering a binder from Pennsylvania and a filler blend that includes tobacco from both the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

PTSITA will have an MSRP of $13.50 each and will be offered in 10-count boxes.

In addition, the company will be releasing Area 51 Alien, a 6 1/2 x 48 vitola that will include a glow-in-the-dark band.

In an email, Ismael R. Olivan, founder of B.A.M.F. Cigars, told halfwheel that the company is not disclosing the blend of the Area 51 Alien because “it is the cigar that doesn’t exist.” Each cigar will be encased in individual glass tubes that will feature an MSRP of $14.50 each, and there will be 10 cigars in each box.

Both cigars are being made at the Rodriguez Olivan Cigars Factory in the Dominican Republic and are scheduled to ship to retailers in May.

The 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show takes place March 23-25 in Las Vegas.

I have been smoking cigars for over eight years. A documentary wedding photographer by trade, I spent seven years as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I started the cigar blog SmokingStogie in 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a cigar blog with better photographs and more in-depth information about each release. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars. I am a co-founder of halfwheel and now serve as an editor for halfwheel.
