Visol has announced that it will be releasing a trio of new lighters at this year’s PCA Convention & Trade Show, called the Boulder, Diablo and Striker.

The Boulder is the beefiest of the bunch, offering a quad-flame torch with both a punch cutter and double guillotine cutter with serrated blades built into the body, while the curved lid doubles as a cigar rest. The lighter also offers a large fuel window that reveals how much butane is left in the tank.

The Boulder measures 3.25 x 2 x 1.25 inches and weighs 0.3 pounds. It is priced at $60 and comes in two color options: black and green.

The Visol Striker is a triple-flame torch that offers both a punch cutter as well as a poker, while the curved body of the lighter doubles as a cigar rest and a fuel window on the front of the lighter shows how much butane remains.

It measures 3.4 x 1.4 x. 0.75 inches and weighs in at 0.25 pounds. It is offered in seven colors: black, blue, gunmetal, green, red, silver, and bronze, each of which are priced at $40.

Rounding out the new offerings is the Diablo, another triple flame that comes with a built-in v-cutter, or a wedge cutter as Visol refers to it. The lid of the Diablo is curved to offer a place to rest a cigar, while a window on the side of the lighter provides a glimpse at the remaining fuel level.

The Diablo measures 3.25 x 1.75 x 0.75 inches and weighs 0.25 pounds. It is offered in seven colors: black, blue, gunmetal, green, red, silver, and bronze, with pricing set at $50.

All three models are in stock and ready to begin shipping once orders are placed.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
