Vector has released a handful of new colors for three of its lighters, highlighted by a new nickel satin matte option.

The Vector Caliper, a large single flame torch lighter that began shipping in late April, is adding the new nickel satin matte finish along with a metallic blue rubber matte and a metallic red rubber matte option, with each color having an MSRP of $49.95. The Caliper also offers a cigar punch and a curved cap that serves as a cigar rest.

The lighter that the Caliper is based on, the Vector Quattro, is also adding the nickel satin matte option as a new color option. As the name implies, it offers a quadruple flame torch, which the company says works at elevations up to 10,000 feet. Like the Caliper, it offers a built-in punch cutter and a curved cap that functions as a cigar rest, while measuring 3.5 x 1.06 x .92 inches. The Quattro is also priced at $49.95.

Rounding out the lighters getting new color options is the Vector Ironfist, an angled triple-flame lighter designed for both quick lighting of a cigar and reliability at high elevations. The Ironfist is getting four new colors: nickel satin matte, black crackle matte, mahogany, and chrome satin.

The Ironfist is a wind-resistant lighter the company says will work at elevations up to 14,000 feet above sea level. It measures 2.32 inches wide, 1.61 inches long and 3.7 inches tall, while checking in at 0.3 pounds. Vector says the lighter can produce temperatures of up to 2,400 degrees Fahrenheit, or 1,316 degrees Celsius. It also features a fold-out punch cutter on the bottom of the lighter and a single-action, push-button ignition that can be locked in place for extended lighting sessions.  The Ironfist has an MSRP of $39.95.

All of the new color options are currently available for purchase.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
