Updated Guide to FDA’s Regulation of Cigars
On May 5, 2016, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced that it would regulate premium cigars for the first time in history. This announcement came two years after the agency published a draft of its proposed regulations for cigars, pipe tobacco, e-cigarette and vapor products and other unregulated tobacco products.
