Whenever the Aladino Maduro formally heads to stores, you should be in for a treat. The vitolas that soft-launched earlier this year were outstanding. Three of the four reviewers rated this cigar 91+ points, though the fourth wasn't as kind.

Patrick Lagreid described the profile as "clean and direct," which I think are two very accurate descriptors for what is a very good cigar. The Mexican San Andrés wrapper seemed to shine on top of the Honduran binder and fillers with "nuttiness" being a common descriptor amongst the tasting notes.

Pricing isn't finalized and it isn't awesome, but it's very good . A range of $7.75-11.50 is expected, though unfortunately the Rothschild isn't expected to be one of the cigars released when it heads to stores. Hopefully that changes and hopefully the rest of the sizes perform as well as it did. — Charlie Minato.
