The Reserva Broadleaf Collection is a gigantic box of 100 cigars, containing 10 cigars of 10 different blends. All the cigars are Connecticut broadleaf-wrapped versions of Tatuaje's Brown Label releases: the six HUNTER sizes plus Reserva SW, J21, K222 and Cojonu 2003.
We reviewed seven of the cigars from the collection and while we had issues with most, the Reserva J21 was the notable exception. It had the richness, flavor and construction we've come to expect from so many Connecticut broadleaf cigars from Pete Johnson.
When it was originally announced, the Tatuaje Reserva Broadleaf Collection looked like the only way to get a broadleaf J21, but both retailers and Tatuaje itself have opted to sell the cigars from the collection individually. In addition, 10-count boxes have also been added, making for a more palatable format for fans of a particular cigar. — Charlie Minato.
