Viaje and the Pennsylvania-based retailer Atlantic Cigar Co. have a long history. The two companies have joined forces on a number of cigars to commemorate different occasions over the years, including the Viaje Exclusivo Atlantic Cigar Co. 15th Anniversary Lancero and the Viaje Exclusivo Chiquito 2015.
Last year, Atlantic released yet another exclusive cigar, this time to celebrate its 20th year in business. Appropriately named the Viaje Atlantic 20th Anniversary WLP 20th Limited Edition Toro, the cigar is a box-pressed 6 x 52 toro that incorporates all Nicaraguan tobacco.
In terms of the profile, the collaboration is a flavor bomb, with notes of citrus, toast, nuts and ever-present sweetness that combine together nicely. The excellent construction certainly did not hurt either and all of the aforementioned factors made the Viaje Atlantic 20th Anniversary WLP 20th Limited Edition Toro the ideal choice for the 20th spot on our list.
