Tarazona Cigars next release draws inspiration from the Cigar City.

The Tarazona La Tampeña will debut in a 6 x 52 toro size that uses a habano criollo wrapper from Jalapa, Nicaragua over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. In a press release, the company says that La Tampeña, “pays homage to the women that worked the cigar factories of Tampa during its golden years especially the women in our family that came over from Cuba to Tampa in the late 1800’s due to the cigar trade.”

It has an MSRP of $16 per cigar and will be limited to 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars. Tarazona says it will begin shipping on June 8.

Tarazona says this is the first cigar in its new Discovery Series.
