Punch Golden Era

Last year, General Cigar Co. turned to the factory best known for producing JRE’s cigars for a new Punch line. This year, the company added a lancero to the line.

Golden Era, the collaboration between General Cigar Co. and JRE Tobacco Co., has a fourth size. The 7 x 38 lancero began shipping to stores last week.

General Cigar Co.’s Punch brand is no stranger to Honduras, but the Golden Era comes from a different factory than the rest of the line.

General Cigar Co. uses Honduran tobacco from the Eiroa family for its latest release.

The Punch Golden Era not only uses some of the Eiroa family’s famed Honduran corojo tobaccos but it’s also made at the same factory responsible for making JRE Tobacco Co.’s cigars.
